About
The Kappa Sigma Wilbraham Colony was founded in the fall of 2019 on October 19th. Our members attend Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts. After recruiting nearly 100 pledges, the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world by storm. Schools closed and went remote including Western New England University.

In 2020 the Colony fell to 15 members after many struggles related to the pandemic and the closure of schools. Once school returned in person in the fall of 2021 the Colony once again had success. Doubling its size from 15 to 36 members.

After the 2021-2022 academic year, there were multiple graduates and the Colony stood at 36 members. After nearly reaching its goals last semester, the Colony was striving to receive its Charter from Kappa Sigma Headquarters.

In the 2022 Fall Semester, the Colony of Wilbraham raised over $7,500 for charity and gave over 1,000 hours of service to their community. Additionally, the organization dedicated 2,468 hours of service in the Fall of 2023.

On April 22nd, 2023 the Colony was installed as the Phi-Beta Chapter in Springfield, Massachusetts. With 46 Brothers from all walks of life. This established the 436th Chapter of Kappa Sigma in its 622 year history.
