Rush Week

Rush is essential to the growth of the Phi-Beta Chapter, and of any Chapter of Kappa Sigma. Rush Week's purpose is to expose the Chapter to new students and incoming freshman who may be interested in joining the Fraternity. We push the value of a "Brotherhood like No Other", we hold each other accountable into forming a great group of young men. Rushing Kappa Sigma you will feel the Brotherhood bond that many of us have formed in our time as members of the Fraternity. Our Rush this Fall 2024 will be held from September 14th to September 28th.

Tailgate BBQ Cookout - Saturday 9/14

 

  • The Brothers of Phi-Beta are hosting a Tailgate BBQ Cookout in the Golden Bear Stadium Parking Lot before the WNE Football game. The event will begin at 10am. There will be plenty of food and beverages provided so make sure to stop by!

  • Time: 10am - 3pm 

  • Location: Golden Bear Stadium Lot

 

Scoop with the Sigs - Sunday 9/15

 

  • Get some FREE ICE CREAM and meet the Brothers of Phi-Beta during our Introductory Informational Session! The event will feature a presentation on our Chapter, its history, and the endless benefits of joining the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. We will have ice cream and beverages for those in attendance. The event will begin at 8PM. Hope to see you at 108!

Casino Night - Wednesday 9/18 

 

  • Test your luck during our Casino Night. Come down to the Kappa Sigma House for Casino Night featuring Texas Hold-em Poker, Blackjack, and Left--Center-Right! The event will begin at 8 PM and end around 11. We hope to see you at the House!

Night of A Thousand Nuggets - Sunday 9/21

 

  •  Defy the odds and face off against the Brothers in an eating contest! We have a THOUSAND nuggets for you and the Brothers to compete with. Event begins at 8 PM, the winner with the most eaten nuggets in 5 minutes will receive a $25 McDonald’s Gift Card. 

  • Time: 8pm - 10pm

EA College Football Tournament  - Thursday 9/26

 

  • Battle against the Kappa Sigma Brothers in a NCAA Football Tournament! Play the new EA Sports College Football 2025 Game and play for a $25 Taco Bell Gift Card! The event will begin at 8 PM. Food and beverages provided.

Steak & Stogies Bid Dinner - Sunday 9/28

 

  • Enjoy delicious steak accompanied with cigars as you receive your bid into the Kappa Sigma Fraternity! Join the Brothers at the house for great food and a good time at the Bid Dinner. This is a special night for our Gamma Pledge Class! Event begins at 8PM.
